Are You Licensed and Insured?

Absolutely! We are fully licensed, insured, and bonded.

How Do I Make a Reservation? 

It’s very easy. Go to the Book It tab on our website and provide all the necessary information. That’s it. You will receive a confirmation email with all the details. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions!

Do You Have Any Hidden Fees? 

No way! Everything needed to complete your move is spelled out under our services and rates. You will also receive a written quote with all the terms and conditions, so there will be no questions or confusion on the day of your move.

Do You Offer Any Insurance?

We don't offer insurance as we are not licensed insurance agents.  As mandated by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration, we offer the standard $0.60 per pound released value protection for damages or missing items. This is most common coverage throughout the moving industry and is extended at no additional cost.

We do, however, like many others in the moving industry, work with a 3rd party insurance carrier that can provide you with full coverage insurance for your entire move.  Our 3rd party insurance carrier is Baker International.

For almost 40 years Baker International has had the most competitive rates in the market. Of course, the real value of any insurance company is how they respond in the event of a claim. No one does it better than Baker International. Claims are settled in-house by a most qualified adjusting team, supported by our extensive network of quality repair and restoration professionals.

Baker International operates a "Call-In" Customer Service Center for those who prefer to talk to an insurance coordinator. You can call 1-800-356-0099 to purchase moving insurance or get a quote right over the phone, anytime during normal business hours. The Customer Service Center hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday central time, except holidays.

Please let them know you are using Bee Moving and Packing, ID# 20905, for a household goods move. They will require the value of your goods and the estimated weight of the shipment to be able to provide you with pricing options. We’d be happy to assist you in determining the weight of the shipment if you’re looking to explore this option. Baker International does not offer single piece coverage.

What Factors May Affect the Cost?

As explained in our services, the following reasons may increase the base cost of your move depending on which rate plan you choose:

  • The number of flights of stairs at the destination location
  • The distance of the walk from the truck to the loading or unloading location
  • The driving time from the loading to the unloading location
  • Specialty furniture, excess items, and items stored in a garage
